Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Animasi Edukatif Berbasis Doratoon di TK Perwari 1 Tasikmalaya

Abstract

This community service activity trained teachers at TK Perwari 1 Tasikmalaya to independently produce educational animation using the AI-based platform Doratoon, addressing the limited digital content-creation competence commonly found among early childhood education teachers. The one-day workshop, held on 6 July 2026 and attended by four participants (three classroom teachers and one headmaster), combined 30% theory with 70% hands-on practice. Training effectiveness was measured using a 10-item multiple-choice pretest-posttest and a 10-indicator Likert-scale partner satisfaction questionnaire. The average knowledge score increased from 65.0% to 85.0% (a 20-percentage-point gain, moderate N-Gain category), while overall partner satisfaction reached 4.75 out of 5 (95%). The largest knowledge gain was observed in understanding the Background feature, whereas misconceptions about video export format and the Props feature persisted after training. These results indicate that the participatory, practice-based training approach effectively improved teachers’ competence and was very well received by the partner school.
